SAT (Introduction)

The SAT is used in determining admissions to most colleges (Undergraduate Institutions)

The SAT is NOT the most important component of a college app.

Virtually every college requires the SAT for admission

Everyone knows the SAT
--The College Board has seen to it that the SAT or PSAT has been placed in TV shows (Summerland) as well as movies (The Perfect Score)

Webmaster's note: Errors abound in the Summerland episode (WTF is a Math score of 746 ?!?!) AND The Perfect Score received 0 stars from one critic. Accordingly, we recommend that the College Board should more closely monitor the projects they use for product placement.
