SAT - When to Guess

SAT

All questions are scored the same, EXCEPT for the Grid-Ins
     --Correct = 1 Point
     --Omit = 0 Points
     --Incorrect = -1/4 Point

Grid-Ins:
     --Correct = 1 Point
     --Omit = 0 Points
     --Incorrect = 0 Points

For Grid-Ins: GUESS AT WILL
     -- Incorrect questions do NOT reduce your score

Every other question: Do NOT blindly guess
     -- Incorrect questions DO reduce your score

Remember that to raise yor score you need to get questions correct, so although you should not blindly guess you need to get questions correct to increase your point total.
