Differences between PSAT and SAT

PSAT (Pre-SAT)

The PSAT is different than the SAT in 2 main ways:

     1. No Essay
               -- Currently, there is no essay on the PSAT
               -- This may change in the near future, though

     2. Shorter
               -- PSAT takes about half the time of the SAT
               -- The SAT is 3 hours and 45 minutes
               -- The PSAT is 2 hours and 10 minutes
