ACT and SAT

ACT

Most people know of the ACT as the "other" college entrance exam. Almost everyone knows the SAT, but most students are not familiar with the ACT. In fact, most students who take the ACT do not complete any preparation for it.

ACT is typically thought of as the alternative to the SAT
--Virtually every college will accept the ACT or the SAT

Some colleges will even accept the ACT in place of the SAT AND SAT 2 (subject tests)

Many students will perform better on the ACT than the SAT
